So you stumble upon this random blog giving you mediocre advice on how to run your life. And now you’re wondering… Who the hell is this?!
Singaporean writer simply trying to make it beyond the confines of the Lion City.
I guess this is what I’d say if I had to describe myself professionally to strangers in less than 20 words. But personally?
Cliché as it sounds, I’m an imperfect perfectionist. A dreamer with real-life expectations. And most of all, a cynical soul with a sense of humour.
Having realised my dream of being a lifestyle writer from the tender age of 12, I directed my life towards that very goal. Aside from graduating from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a diploma in Mass Communication, I created and managed multiple blogs over the years, where my writing style evolved as I experimented with it. Eventually, I went on to pursue my aspirations as a contributing writer at Singapore’s top interior design magazine Home & Decor, as well as digital wedding publication The Wedding Vow.
What I never imagined would come hand-in-hand with writing is video producing. Nevertheless, I got my start and found my passion in this area during my editorial internship at Home & Decor, where I directed, produced and edited a bevvy of lifestyle-related videos. Some of my notable works include Geylang Bazaar 2019: How much homeware can you get for under $100? and H&D Mini Mukbang: Shake Shack @ Jewel Changi Airport.
